our curriculum
The 38 research-based objectives are at the heart of everything we do and they define the path teachers take with the children in their classroom.
At Kids Connect we follow Creative Curriculum, based on the 38 Objectives. These objectives inform every aspect of teaching, include predictors of school success, and are aligned with state early learning guidelines and the Head Start Early Learning Outcomes Framework.
The objectives cover 10 areas of development and learning, including broad developmental areas, content areas, and English language acquisition. Many objectives also include dimensions that guide teachers’ thinking about various aspects of that objective and help clarify what it addresses.
Rating Scale
Early Childhood Environment Rating Scale®, Third Edition (ECERS-3™)
The Third Edition of the ECERS is a major revision that introduces innovations in both the content and administration of the scale while retaining the continuity of the two principal characteristics of the ECERS, namely its comprehensive or global definition of quality and the reliance on observation as the primary source of information on which to base assessment of classroom quality.
The Scale consists of 35 items organized into 6 subscales:
- Space and Furnishings
- Personal Care Routines
- Language and Literacy
- Learning Activities
- Interaction
- Program Structure

What Parents are Saying
Miss Jackie’s love & dedication to what she’s doing shone from the day I met her back in October 2012… my husband & I finally began bringing our 2 & 3 year old here last month & we absolutely LOVE KidsConnect….
From the layout, colors & design of the place to the personalization Jackie & her staff give us… we couldn’t recommend a better place. Dance & music, outside play & sports, crafts…. we feel really good about bringing our ‘babies’ here..
Highly recommended….
Thanks Jackie… your’e doing an excellent job!
The care is amazing!! Ms Marisa, Ms Jill, Ms Suzanne and Ms Maria are great with the kids, and are committed to their well being and development. I got reports often on the activities he engaged in and his social and academic progress. Their curriculum is engaging and encourages growth. More importantly, they work closely with parents to re-enforce important values of kindness, team work, participation and love. My son did yoga, Zumba, soccer, gymnastics. It was so great to feel supported by all RnR staff and know my son was in great hands.
My daughter has been going to this daycare since she was 4 months old. I love the fact that the ratio student to teacher is small. I love that she has the same teacher since she started going. This shows they take care of the staff well. The teachers are amazing. Once I drop her off I feel safe. I don’t worry about anything. That’s how good the school is. At the end of the day when we go pick her up she doesn’t want to leave.
My son joined the school about a year and half. He loves it. He made new friends quickly. The teachers are amazing. They have extra activities for the kids. My son was in the Kiddy Soccer Program, Computer Class, Zumba Class, Yoga class, Gymnastic Class; endless activities.
